Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) represents a group of symptoms of unknown origin, usually showing up by the age of two and affecting a child’s play, social relations, and ability to communicate.
A twelve-week pilot study was conducted with eleven patients of Dr. Michael Goldberg, some with mild cases of ASD and some with severe. The purpose of the study was to determine whether infrared thermography would reveal an abnormal pattern of temperature differences in these children, and whether the administration of double helix water would result in improvement.
The thermographs from the study did show such atypical patterns of temperature distribution in autistic patients, and thus demonstrated that thermographs may be a promising tool to detect ASD, as well as to track the progress of improvement.
Regarding the effect of double helix water (DHW), in every subject, the body’s thermal pattern changed within fifteen minutes after drinking a solution of stable water clusters (double helix water).
In addition to the physical evidence of the thermal images, parents’ evaluations of eight out of the eleven subjects were that their children’s health had improved by drinking double helix water.
The study goes on to describe how these results make sense in view of Chinese Medicine’s meridian theory.
